Effective date: 12 October 2026
This policy explains how Neuralean World LTD ("Neuralean", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects consumer health data. It applies to our website, our stress test, our plans, the Support subscription and our emails. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers all other personal data.
We serve people around the world, and this policy applies to everyone who uses Neuralean, wherever they live. It is written to meet the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar US state laws (Nevada, Connecticut), UK and EU data protection law, and to give the same protections to users in every other country.
Neuralean is a self-reflection and daily-practice service. It is not therapy, medical care or a diagnosis.

"Consumer health data" means information that relates to your physical or mental health, or that we could use to make an inference about it. We collect:
| What | Examples |
|---|---|
| Your test answers | How often you feel stressed, how you sleep, what happens in your body and mind under stress |
| Your result | The type and stage ("Era") we work out from your answers. This is an inference about your wellbeing, so we treat it as health data |
| Your check-ins and reports | Numbers and short notes you send during a plan or the Support subscription, such as how tense you feel before and after a practice |
| Your Personal applications and requests | What's going on for you, what you've tried, and Marina's reviews |
| Your messages to us | Anything about your wellbeing that you choose to write to us |
We do not collect precise location data, biometric data, genetic data or information about reproductive or sexual health. We do not use geofencing around healthcare facilities.
Only from you: the answers, check-ins and messages you send us.
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| To give you your test result and plan | Your consent at the start of the test |
| To send you your daily practices and adjust them to your type, stage and the version you chose | Your consent, and providing the service you asked for |
| To process your check-ins and, sometimes, reply to you personally | Your consent, and providing the service you asked for |
| To run the repeat test every 30 days if you have the Support subscription | Your consent, and providing the service you asked for |
| To review your Personal application and give you Personal reviews | Your consent, and providing the service you asked for |
| To keep records that show you gave consent | Our legal obligations |
We do not use your consumer health data for advertising or ad targeting. We do not use it in marketing, testimonials or case studies unless you give separate consent for that specific text.
UK and EU users: data about your health is a "special category" of personal data. We process it only with your explicit consent (UK GDPR and EU GDPR, Article 9(2)(a)).
We do not sell your consumer health data. We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
We use a small number of service providers ("processors") who handle data only on our instructions and under a contract:
| Category | What they do |
|---|---|
| Website, test, email and payment platform | Hosts our pages and the test, stores your answers and sends our emails |
| AI service provider (Anthropic, Claude) | Helps us process check-ins and prepare results and replies. Replies written with the AI assistant are labelled as such. Under our agreement, the provider does not use your data to train its models |
| Database service (Airtable) | Stores your test answers and results, check-ins, consent records and Personal applications and requests, so we can run the service |
| Payment processors | Take payments. They do not receive your test answers |
We may disclose data if the law requires it, for example under a court order. If that happens, we disclose only what is required.
We have no affiliates that receive your consumer health data.
We collect consumer health data only after you tick a consent box: at the start of the test, or on the Personal application and payment pages. The box is separate from our Terms of Service, and you can say no. Without consent we can't produce a result or plan, because the result is built from your answers.
We keep a record of your consent: the text you agreed to, the date and time, and your email.
We keep your test answers, results, check-ins, Personal requests and consent records for 3 years from your last activity with us. If you apply for Personal and don't join, we delete your application 12 months after you apply. After that we delete the data or make it anonymous.
If you ask us to delete your data earlier, we do so as described in section 8.
You can:
How to make a request: email team@marinawinberg.com with the subject line "Health data request". Use the email address you used with us, so we can confirm it's you. We may ask a short question to verify your identity. You don't need to pay.
Our timeline: we reply within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why within those 45 days, and we can take up to 45 more days. UK and EU users get a reply within one month, which we may extend by up to two more months for complex requests.
If we say no: we'll explain why and how to appeal. To appeal, reply to our answer with the word "Appeal". We'll respond within 45 days. If you're still not satisfied:
Access to consumer health data is limited to the people and processors who need it to provide the service. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and the security measures of our platforms. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Our services are for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect consumer health data from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If we want to collect or share consumer health data in a new way, we'll ask for your consent first.
